Ok, we did go to Jakusevec once before(and gulls just didn't want to play :( ) this but we'll call this a start of the year.
This Sunday looked promising because of the snow that fell on Friday and very low temperature on Saturday and Sunday.
We came to the tip at 8. Guys on the tip gave us nice load of rubbish. Everything was set at 9 and it looked as we're going to have a quick first catch, but... gulls didn't plan it that way.
We had safety problems for almost 2 hours but it was worth it.
First catch was one of the best ever with 135 gulls under the net.
After extracting, we started ringing and few guys were resetting the net for the second catch.
Soon after reset gulls started landing in the catching area and I decided to take second catch immediately and not waiting to process all the birds from the first catch.Second one came much faster, maybe ten minutes. And it is definitelly the best catch we ever had with 175 gulls. You can see the catch on Mladens video:

This time Gopro didn't have problem with big Volvo but.. You'll see..
It took us more time to process the birds than usual but it was the best day ever with 310 gulls colour ringed!
Final numbers:
BHG 290
Common G 14
Caspian G 3
YLG 2
HG 1
And here are few interesting ones:
51CH 2w Caspian
53CH adult Caspian with pale eyes
54CH 2w Caspian
55CH 1w HG
And few recoveries photographed by Kruno
BHG from Serbia
and Caspian with Pollish ring

Well done! I will look for your gulls during their spring migration in northeast Poland :-) Greetings, Michal
